Lead and Trade (“we”, “us”) operates a UK trades marketplace connecting homeowners with tradespeople. This policy explains how we handle personal data.

- Homeowners: name, contact details, job details, location, photos/video you upload, and consent records.
- Tradespeople: account and business details, trades, coverage area, verification documents and payment records.
- Everyone: technical data such as IP address and device/browser information, and analytics where consented.

- To match homeowner jobs with suitable local tradespeople.
- To operate accounts, payments, leads and notifications.
- To keep the platform safe and prevent fraud and spam.
- To send service messages, and marketing only where you have opted in.
Sharing job details
When you post a job, a privacy-safe preview may be shared with suitable local tradespeople. Your phone number, email, full name and full address are only shared with a tradesperson once they unlock your job through the platform. See our data sharing page for full detail.
Your rights
Subject to law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. Contact us to make a request.
Retention & security
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and apply appropriate security measures. Suppression and consent records may be retained longer to honour opt-outs and legal obligations.
